The mother has always wanted to read this book and she finally bought it yesterday because I expressed my interest in reading it, too. It was an easy read and the book was some kind of wonderful for it talked about history and magic and glorious food and a European magical mystery tour that I would very much like to be a part of someday. Basically, it is a charming tale that infuses a multitude of elements and allows its readers to discover realms of possibilities (and crave for baked eggs and cheese and jasmine tea). I shall hang a string of banderitas in celebration of the recognition of a fellow Filipino’s talent.

This was a post by Hanna, whose head is filled with thoughts about butterscotch brownies and vanilla ice cream.
